OLLI at BCC's Foreign Film Shared Interest Group invites you to an online screening and discussion of Jean-Luc Godard's 1960 new-wave classic Breathless, screened in French with English subtitles.  Breathless is one of the earliest and more influential examples of French nouvelle vague cinema, bringing international attention to a new style of French filmmaking.  It stars Jean-Paul Belmondo as a wandering criminal named Michel, and Jean Seberg as his American girlfriend. It is considered one of the best films ever made, appearing in Sight & Sound magazine's decennial polls of filmmakers and critics on the subject on multiple occasions.

Following the film, OLLI members Chris Guidette, Alex Nardacci and Peter Bluhm will lead a discussion on the film.  They'll also seek your input on future films for the group to view and discuss.
