Come laugh, play, and explore the magic of your imagination through a series of participatory theatre workshops. We begin with basic group imagination stretching exercises, then progress through simple theatre games to mime and improvisation. "Imagination is Ageless" is not an intro to acting course. While participants might acquire some performance skills along the way, our goal is to comfortably, happily unleash the limitless power of imagination... to take a sip of joy together. No prior theatre experience is needed. No memorization is required. While some physical movement is involved, it is not demanding. All games and exercises can be adapted for any movement limitations.

Sally Filkins is an historian, playwright and theatre director. She has worked as an arts educator for more than forty years, including involvement in professional, educational and advocacy theatre. Most recently, Sally was the playwright in residence for Berkshire Historical Society at Melville's Arrowhead (2011 -2016). Sally is the author of "Shades of the Revolution," “Melville, Haunted," and "I Am Pittsfield," among other historic plays.
