Outsider art is traditionally defined as art created by self-taught artists, often outside the mainstream art world. This course looks at four very different artists sometimes described as outsider artists.

Larry Goldberg holds degrees from University of
Rochester, King’s College London, and University of Miami. He is an adjunct professor at Berkshire Community College (BCC). Mr. Goldberg has taught philosophy, the arts, and history at BCC, Southern Vermont College, and MCLA and his paintings and/or photos have been
shown at the Milne Public Library, North Adams Co-op
Gallery, the Intermodal Gallery and the BCC Orchid Show.
