Even the smallest animal can play an enormous role in our lives. Why ae they important? Why do we love or hate them? Using poetry, we will look at what we learn from pets and animals in the field, savannah, and other natural habitats. We will read and discuss a wide variety of poems and received prompts for writing our own prose or poetry. No experience necessary. Just come and allow your imagination free reign!

LIMITED REGISTRATION: 30

Recommended Reading:

Reading packets will be provided-- the preliminary list of poems can be accessed here

Students should come to class with writing material and photos of pets or other animals they like or dislike
