This class will be a series of four day hikes on the Appalachian Trail which runs from Maine to Georgia; 90- plus miles are in Berkshire County. We will start at 10 a.m. and be back to the cars about 2 p.m. We each bring our own water and lunch and eat it on the trail. Each hike will be approximately 5-6 miles long and cover varied terrain from easy to moderate to strenuous. You must have, in the last few months, hiked this distance and be capable on hilly, rocky terrain. Please reach out through the OLLI office with any questions. The hikes will be on sections of the trail throughout the county.
