At the conclusion of “First to Final Draft”, many students ask about writers’ groups. What exactly are these? How do you find one, join one, maybe even start one. To answer your questions, we developed an OLLI class where, over six weeks, participants will refine the skills needed to become valued writers’ group members. These include the art of reading aloud, the skill of providing and accepting productive critique and techniques for responding to prompts. In this model class, participants will read their own work.

This is an interactive class and will not be recorded. Attendance and active participation are required. Audio and video must be kept on throughout the session.

NOTE: Completion of any previous semester's First to Final Draft is required.
