Our world has changed dramatically in the last year, and one of the greatest changes caused by the pandemic has been to place restrictions on our ability to travel. Escape with us for 90 minutes a week to explore the history and culture of six countries with OLLI instructors who were there, in person, before those restrictions and took lots of pictures! What better distraction than sharing their passion.

Mar 2: A Wiki-Around the World, where we invite class participants to share a five minute tour of their favorite spot to visit. Just send 4-5 images to moderator John Dickson at OLLI@berkshirecc.edu and he will put together in one slide show and call on contributors to share their five minutes of travel
Lynda C Bianchi, Moderator, is a retired educator. She taught in the Pittsfield Public Schools, the Adams Cheshire Schools, and as an administrator in the Springfield Public Schools. She has always believed that travel brings us closer together. The more we know, the better we understand.
She just recently heard a quote that stated, “When we revisit places that we have traveled to, it is like visiting one's youth.” Perhaps more importantly, when we travel we understand ourselves more. Let's sit back and "travel" to some new or old places and better understand ourselves, one another and the world we live in.
