This course is a follow up on the course given last summer on Science and Medicine in the 1920s. Each instructor will provide an update on recent advances in astronomy, chemistry, surgery, pathology, and psychiatry.

  • Health Issues Associated with Global Plastics Production, Jim Kronick
  • Surgery in the 20th and 21st Centuries, Daniel Morrison
  • Recent Advances in Pathology, Christopher Otis
  • Dementia and End of Life Options, Lewis Cohen

Shirin Nash is the curator of this course and currently the co-chair of the Science Committee at OLLI at BCC.
