We all have stories to share, including that one special story we've been meaning to write. But what makes a great story? Whether fiction or non-fiction, whether comedy or drama, readers connect with strong characters and compelling plots. In our workshop, we will review the elements of storytelling to transform your story into one that connects with readers. As we work together, we will share and critique each other's work and, at our last session, explore opportunities for publication. The world is waiting for our stories. Let's start here!

Lou-Ellen Barkan retired after careers on Wall Street, in New York city government and as a not-for-profit CEO.  She holds a BA, summa cum laude, from Hunter College and an MA from Columbia University/Teacher's College. She writes for her own pleasure and, hopefully, for others. Her work can be found at https://www.clippings.me/users/lebarkan.
