We all have stories to share, including that one special story we've been meaning to get down on paper. But what makes a great story? Whether fiction or non-fiction, whether comedy or drama, we all connect with strong characters and compelling plots. In this workshop-style course, participants use the art and craft of storytelling to transform their story into one that connects with readers.  Throughout the course, as participants work on their drafts, the instructor will provide short fiction and non-fiction pieces for group discussion and review of the basics of storytelling. Participants will have the opportunity to share and gently critique each other's work and, at the last session, review opportunities for publication. The world is waiting for our stories. Let's start here!
