M102 | Learn to Paint a Landscape: Part Two | Mondays - 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. In-person at BCC |
This is the sequel to Learn to Paint a Landscape offered in fall 2024, and we welcome beginners, as well as returners from the last season. Because…there is more to learn! In this class, we will cover learning about perspective, adding buildings, and even discussing features of local historic houses. We’ll also learn how to paint a landscape, as viewed through a window. Verbal instruction is provided at the beginning of each class, along with simple prep exercises. In addition, we will cover color mixing and creating various textures, all while working with acrylic paints. As usual, I will include simple tips on painting landscapes with children. Walk away feeling empowered with your new painting! Supplies are kept simple and inexpensive; a supply list will be provided after registration. *Bring all of your supplies to the first class. We will briefly review them, then move on to sketching the landscape. Plan to bring several landscape photos to class. We will decide which would be best for your project.
