So many changes in our world have occurred recently that
we've lost sight of cultural developments that transformed our lives
incrementally over decades. Five sessions will explore the evolution in
these areas of our culture:
April 5th: Changes in Language with Stewart Edelstein
April 12th:Changes in Higher Education with Tom Gerety
April 19th:Changes in Food Sources and Preferences with Arline Breskin
April 26th: Changes in The Role of Museums in the Community with Craig Langlois
May 3rd: Changes in The Role of Public Libraries with Alex Reczkowski
Linda Halpern, Moderator, holds a BA from Douglass College of Rutgers University in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Library Science from Rutgers School of Information and Library Science. She is a retired school librarian and inn keeper. She is a member of the OLLI Social Science Curriculum Committee and the Literature Curriculum Committee and former Assistant Editor of OLLI Update. She last curated "What's On Your Mind" in Fall of 2019. Linda is an avid reader and is passionate about poetry.
