Join us to discuss science news appearing in the Tuesday “Science Times” section of The New York Times, plus magazines and journals. Moderators for the sessions will encourage a vigorous give-and-take. Student suggestions for discussion topics and additional readings are welcomed.

Peter Bluhm, Moderator, earned his J.D. at Albany Law School and held a variety of positions in Vermont state government. He retired as President of Berkshire Telecommunications Consulting and is a past President of OLLI at BCC. Anthony Segal, Moderator, earned his M.D. from Cambridge University. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, he practiced neurosurgery for thirty years in Memphis, TN. Tony co-chaired OLLI’s Science Committee for many years and frequently serves as moderator for this course.
