In Time Travel Travails we will explore the theme of the problems encountered in traveling through time in a collection of science fiction stories. We will discuss how different authors use a variety of ways of traveling into the past or future. What will the characters encounter? Do their actions change the present? The Time Machine by the father of science fiction H.G. Wells was one of the first time travel stories; the main character of Doctor Who also uses a machine to travel through time; even the movie Back to the Future features a time travel car! Not to mention, Marge Piercy and Audrey Niffenegger have added women's voices to this type of sci-fi.

Time travel with me this winter on Zoom!
