A Tapestry of Syria from Grandmother to Granddaughter: Three generations of Syrian women share their personal stories, from grandmothers' Damascus roots, mothers' bridging experiences, aunts' wartime resilience, to daughters' American perspectives, revealing Syria's rich culture, identity, and everyday life beyond stereotypes.

As a proud mother of three daughters and a first-generation immigrant, Fadia Rostom understands learning's transformative power from lived experience. A graduate of Damascus University in
computer science and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, she brings over 30 years of collaborative experience in both public and private education systems to her teaching.

As former Principal of Saint Agnes Academy, Fadia demonstrated exceptional leadership during unprecedented challenges, successfully guiding the institution through COVID-19 disruptions while earning recognition as the "Best Private School in the Berkshires" for three consecutive years.

A Berkshire resident by choice, she serves as an executive member of the BCC Alumni Board and leads Vision Scholar Educational Consulting, specializing in technology in education.

Her expertise spans workshop facilitation at local, national, and international conferences, including NEASC, Digital Learning Annual Conference, MATSOL, and BERK12 Educational Professional Day. Through her consulting practice, she helps educators integrate cutting-edge educational technology with inclusive practices, creating learning environments that celebrate diversity while leveraging digital tools for enhanced engagement.
