Thursdays - 1:30 p.m.
Six Sessions -
 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26
In-person in various locations
Limit: 12

You may want to snuggle up with a book for six days a week this winter, but consider joining other OLLI members on the trail once a week.  This course will include six hikes of about 3 to 4 miles and moderate difficulty at various locations in the Berkshires. Participants will use hiking poles and have ice cleats for boots if needed. Proper dress and gear for cold weather outdoor activities will be addressed.

Hikes may be cancelled if weather conditions become too severe; an update will be posted on the course Padlet page the morning of the scheduled hike.

Mike Hohn trained and worked in child psychology for four decades. Sara Hohn worked as an advanced practice nurse specializing in diabetes care for over three decades. Along the way, they found time for hiking, camping, bicycling, cross-country skiing (classic), occasional downhill skiing, and other sports across the US and internationally. They have found that despite the temptation to sit inside by the fire with a good book while waiting out the long Berkshires winters, exploring the outdoors in winter can be magical.
