The second OLLI class exploring our local Berkshire history. Each class will feature a historical society from a different town each week, whose historians will talk about significant events and people in their past, as well as their society’s planned programs. Towns featured this year include Adams, Richmond, Monterrey, Sandisfield, Stockbridge and Lee.

The moderator of the conversations is John Dickson who is active in local history projects as a volunteer at the Berkshire County Historical Society and Chair of the Pittsfield Historical Commission. He is the author of Berkshire County's Industrial Heritage and History Shock, Where History Collides with Foreign Relations.
