The current in vogue
abbreviation G.O.A.T stands for the Greatest of All Time. It usually refers to
sports legends, and more recently, Jeopardy champions. But what about music. We
will delve into the past and present G.O.A.T violin compositions, the
violinists that performed those pieces, and even the violins on which they
played. If you were asked, who are the best violinists of all time, I would bet
we would name many of the same greats. But there may be some amazing surprises
regarding the violin compositions, and those who performed those popular and
recognizable pieces.
