I need to rejoin OLLI. Meanwhile I have a large collection of wonderful films in Spanish. Years ago I taught courses for oLLI on “The Spanish Civil War Through Film” and “Spain’s Six Greatest Films.” Most of the films in my collection are from Spain but zi have some from Argentina,,Mexico, Colombia and Cuba. Here are some titles: Solas, The Spirit of the Beehive, The Sea Inside, Thesis, Carmen, Ay, Carmela, All no About My Mother, Maria Full of Grace, The Official Story, Camila, Amores Perros, Pan’s Labyrinth, The City of No Limits and Flores de otro mundo among many others.
