Centered on Daniel Chester French's iconic Minute Man, a lasting symbol of American patriotism, this exhibition explores liberty, victory, and the sacrifices of military service through portraits, monuments, and memorials by French and other artists of his era. Contemporary works extend the conversation, offering fresh perspectives on these enduring themes. Curated by Dana Pilson, Chesterwood’s Curatorial Researcher and Collections Coordinator.
