Mentoring at BCC is a collaborative relationship in which an experienced individual (YOU!) offers guidance, insight, and support to BCC students as they explore various educational and career paths. For these students mentoring can provide a real-world perspective, help clarify career options, build confidence, and offer practical advice to help in their decision-making. 

For the mentor, this involvement can be equally valuable – it creates an opportunity to think back on one’s own career, strengthen leadership and communication skills, get a flavor of college campus life, and gain a sense of fulfillment while interacting with the next generation. 

From traditional mentoring to micro-mentoring, Mentoring at BCC is a flexible commitment ranging from one-time participation to as many as you deem appropriate.

You are invited to a no-obligation, Mentoring information session Wed, June 3, 10:30-11:30, Room G-12 in the Susan B. Anthony Center. Refreshments will be served.
