Examples of works that may be featured include Alma-Tadema’s Model D Pianoforte and Stools (as seen above), Memling’s Canon Giles Joye, Gainsborough’s Elizabeth and Thomas Linley, Gemito’s Portrait of Giuseppe Verdi, Carpeaux’s Portrait of Charles Gounod, Haudebourt-Lescot’s The Wedding Trip, Navez’s Musical Group, Renoir’s A Box at the Theatre (At the Concert), Madrazo’s Reverie – The Letter, among many others.
