Idealist? Humorist? Social Activist? Will the real Norman Rockwell please stand up! His artwork spanning 1913 to 1976 captures the evolution of American life unfolding during the 20th century.

During our sole classroom presentation, as students view the paintings of Rockwell over the course of his life, students will vote on which they view as the real Norman Rockwell.

The second class, students will visit the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA to view his paintings and studio.

Skip Doyle is a lifelong educator in a variety of subjects. He teaches courses in art, literature, spirituality, business, and outdoor skills. Among a score of course titles, his most recent offerings include: The Hudson River School of art, American Nature Writers & Poets, Torah for Christians, Project Management, and Sailing Fundamentals. Skip Doyle is widely published in magazines and newspapers. His most recent book, The Long Path Journal & Guide describes his 350-mile hike through the backcountry of the Hudson River Valley.

Cost: $40 for OLLI at BCC members,
           $45 for non-members
