These will be interactive workshops with opportunities to participate and practice for all attendees. They are intended for current or future course instructors and Zoom facilitators, SIG leaders, and committee chairs.

1:30 p.m. Advanced Zoom Tools and Techniques for Teachers and Facilitators
What else does Zoom offer teachers and facilitators? Learn about advanced screen sharing techniques, polls, breakout rooms, the whiteboard, webinars and more.

10:00 a.m. PowerPoint and Google Slides Best Practices
Set up your presentations like a pro! We will cover topics including setting up the background, how much information on each slide, embedding video and sound and techniques to help the vision and hearing impaired. We will also touch upon best practices for using presentations in a zoom class.
Wednesday, December 14
10:00 a.m. Communicating With Your Class or Group
Do you send your class readings, articles or just need to be in touch regularly? Join us at this session where we will explore techniques and tools for better communication. We will explore programs such as document sharing, Padlet and Google Drive.
