In this unique collection of writings from the 17th century to the present, Siobhan Senier, has gathered poetry, memoirs, and historical documents from ten Indigenous communities of New England and Canada. Senier worked with tribal elders and scholars to gather these writings to document the literary tradition and the ongoing presence and contributions of New England’s Native American writers.

Pat Kennedy, the discussion leader for Dawnland Voices, teaches English at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, MA. Occasionally she has the honor of teaching Native American Literature. She presents papers at the Studies in American Indian Literature Conference on contemporary indigenous writers. Pat has an MA in English from Tufts University and a BA in English from Brandeis University.

All the books will be available at The Bookstore in Lenox, MA.
