OLLI University Day
Criminal Justice Reform

Wednesday, November 8th
9am-3:30pm

at Bard College at Simon's Rock
84 Alford Road, Great Barrington, Mass.

In partnership with Bard College at Simon's Rock, OLLI, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Berkshire Community College, presents a day of learning and discussion around the red-hot issue of criminal justice reform in Massachusetts and around the country.

Speakers include State Senator Adam Hinds (pictured above) who has cosponsored a package of criminal justice reform bills currently at the State House, and MassINC research director Ben Forman, who has authored several research reports on criminal justice reform. MassINC is the leading non-partisan policy thinktank in Massachusetts.

And from the field we'll hear from Berkshire County Sheriff  Tom Bowler, Christine Rudd from Roca in Springfield, and Kate Byrne from the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative.

Tickets are $35 for OLLI members, and $45 for non-members and include lunch and morning coffee and refreshments.  You may register online here or by calling 413-236-2190.
