✨ Curious about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and what Chatbots have to do with your existence now and in the future?
Dive into this 10 session, supportive and encouraging course where learning meets creativity! We’ll begin with engaging presentations that demystify the basics of AI, then move into using practical online tools for prompting, image generation, and music creation—discovering how AI can become a powerful tool for self-expression.
In addition to lively discussions, participants will take part in biweekly hands-on sessions designed to deepen understanding through experience. These interactive labs will guide you step by step in applying AI tools to real-world and personal interests—whether that’s image generation, music creation, or problem-solving.
Students can complete the browser-based assignments and share their creative accomplishments with the group, building community and confidence in how to use AI responsibly and imaginatively.
As long as you can perform a Google search and share your screen on Zoom, you have all the background you need to participate. A computer or laptop is required along with basic comfort navigating websites. Zoom "Screen Sharing" training sessions will be provided by OLLI if you do not yet know how to do so. Expect to spend about an hour or more weekly exploring suggested exercises between sessions.
