One of OLLI at BCC's best kept secrets are our shared interest groups, free and exclusively for OLLI at BCC members. Whether you are brand new to OLLI at BCC or a longtime member of our learning community, you'll enjoy hearing from the leaders of our shared interest groups (SIGS), member-organized peer-led discussion and activity groups that all OLLI at BCC members are invited to join.  You'll learn more about our current groups, and how you can start one of your own!

The leaders of many of the following shared interest groups will be on hand and sharing information on their groups. It's a great way to find one for yourself! Click on the names for further information, including how to join. 

Absolute Sound

A Shared Interest Group for anyone with a passion for music, be it classical, jazz, folk or any other genre, who like to meet to listen to and discuss music.  

NEW Chamber Music

This Group is for people that like to play or listen to Chamber Music.  

Changing the Culture of Ageism ONLINE

 Join a group of people who want to change the culture of aging.

Contemporary Gender Roles ONLINE

Explore cultural changes in the roles of men and women in the family and in the workplace and the multiple changes in gender presentation and identity.  

Contract Bridge

We are back and in-person! We meet on Wednesdays at 1:30 in Lenox. 

Downhill Ski Group (seasonal) 
Recreational skiing with others for fun and safety.

French Conversation ONLINE
Parlez-vous français? Would you like to practice your French with others in a relaxed setting? Meet up in informal settings on Zoom and/or in person, for French conversation with other OLLI members.  

Gotta Reads - NYT Best Sellers Book Club ONLINE

The Gotta Reads - New York Times Best Sellers Book Club reads books from the NYT Best Seller List of the last couple of years.  Let's read and talk about the best of these best sellers. 

Happy Needlers & Hookers: A Needlework Group

Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting, embroidery or other forms of needlework in good company? Join this group just in time for a cozy winter. 

Murder, Mystery & Mayhem: A Book Group ONLINE
If you love reading mystery novels, this group is for you. Monthly books are chosen for the upcoming year from award winning American and international novels, but are not typically present day publications. Meetings are held the fourth Monday of every month at 1:30pm online.

A small, supportive group of painters who share their paintings in progress to get feedback from other artists and share useful techniques, materials etc.
