The Downhill Skiing SIG is, obviously, seasonal. We welcome skiers of all levels. In 2021, we met pretty much every Friday morning at Butternut…and skied for 2+ hours. The season’s pass for $99 for those 70+ makes this a perfect mountain for the group. There are about 20 members, but typically there are 5-6 who meet and ski regularly. More would be more fun.

In prior, non-COVID years, there were occasional day trips to Snow and Stratton…and occasional Jiminy and Catamount meetups as well…usually just arranged within the group. Normally, there is a get-together in early December at a local coffee shop to meet and get to know each other. “Meets” are then arranged mostly through email.
