Spring Open House Postponed

Our Spring Open House, originally scheduled for Thursday, March 12, has been postponed. A new date will be announced when it is finalized.

Please note: If you were planning to join OLLI for the first time at the Open House, we will continue to offer the discounted rate either in person at the OLLI Offices or over the phone at 413-236-2190 through Friday, March 13th.

Free and open to all. Enjoy delicious refreshments, meet our extraordinary instructors, and enjoy Berkshire Community College's beautiful new Connector Lounge, marked C on the BCC campus map found here. We recommend parking in the North Lot for an easy walk.

PARKING & DIRECTIONS

You may park in any open public parking space or in the Visitors Lot, which is on your right as you first enter the BCC campus.  

From the Central Lot, it’s easiest to proceed up the concrete stairs, towards the Koussevitzky Performing Arts Center sign, then pass under the concrete awning.  Keep to your left and proceed down the brick path along the building, past the entrance to the Boland Theater.  You may either go up the exterior stairs on your left, or enter the doors leading toward the OLLI offices and take the elevator up to 2R and follow the bridge.  Enter the Connector through the center set of doors, with the blue wall—take the stairs or elevator up one flight.

From the North Lot, proceed down the walking path past Melville Hall, keeping right at the fork by the tree.   Take a right at the top of the exterior stairs and enter the Connector through the center set of doors, with the blue wall—take the stairs or elevator up one flight.  You may also enter Melville through any door and follow the signs that read “To Hawthorne via Connector.”

From Visitor Parking, the easiest route is to cross the courtyard diagonally towards the Field building.  From there, pass under the Robert Louis Stevenson quote and either take the concrete stairs ahead and to your left, or enter the doors leading toward the OLLI offices, take the elevator up to 2R and follow the bridge.  Enter the Connector through the center set of doors, with the blue wall—take the stairs or elevator up one flight.

There are handicapped parking spaces behind Melville Hall.  Enter through the side door—the elevator is ahead and to your right.  Take that down to 3— take your first left, then your first right.  You may also use the handicapped spaces near Visitor Parking.  Enter the cafeteria and follow signs for the elevator—press 2.  Proceed through the offices, following the signs for the elevator—press 2R, which will open the rear doors.  Proceed across the bridge, then enter the Connector through the center set of doors, with the blue wall—the elevator will be to your left.
