They Mobbed The Joint!
TUESDAY, JULY 2, 2019
Did Frank Sinatra invest in a Hancock racetrack for a New England mob boss? That’s what the U.S. House Select Committee on Crime wanted to know in July 1972 when it called Sinatra to testify about his $55,000 investment in a half-mile horse racing track just outside of Pittsfield. We’ll visit the former race track and hear the story of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin’s adventures. The site, now a Morgan horse breeding farm and riding stable, will also give us some demonstrations.
Tour, talk & OLLI CHEFS serve lunch!
