OLLI is heading to England next summer with Williams College professor & OLLI instructor favorite Phillip McKnight!

Join us for a free open house Monday, September 17th, from 10am to 11:30am to learn more about the trip and enjoy tea and scones!  The trip, entitled Shakespeare in the Tudor Age, will be held July 14th-21st, 2019 and includes visits to Oxford, best seats for three Shakespeare performances, a backstage tour of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, lectures by Phil McKnight and visiting professors, and much more!

OLLI’s first trip to England to celebrate William Shakespeare’s life and times will be fascinating. Together we will spend a week in Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon taking a close look at the Bard himself, and the historical context in which he lived and worked.

Walk the streets that Shakespeare once walked, and explore his life and history. Our guide, Phil McKnight, Esq. (B.A. Williams College, J.D. University of Chicago Law School) is a frequent OLLI lecturer on environmental law, Shakespeare and the law, and the role of law in American democracy.

The Shakespeare in the Tudor Age Open House will be held on the Berkshire Community College campus, located at 1350 West Street in Pittsfield in Room G-12, near the visitors parking lot. Look for the OLLI signs! All are welcome.
