Artist and educator Michael Vincent Bushy offers another three part hands-on course in bookbinding this winter. Join him on Saturday afternoons from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at his studio to explore hand bookbinding techniques. Reference materials will be provided, and no experience is required. Separate materials fee to be paid at the first class session.
Michael Vincent Bushy is a printmaker, book binder, figure artist and illustrator. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UMass Dartmouth, and is an arts educator at Hillcrest Educational Centers. He is vice president of the board of the Berkshire Art Association and serves on the City of Pittsfield’s Cultural Development Board. He received a 2015 ‘40 Under 40’ award from Berkshire Community College and the 2014 Berkshire County K-12 Art Educator of the Year award from IS183 Art School.
