Changing The Culture of Ageism SIG
The Changing The Culture of Ageism SIG has organized a number of meetings and presentations about aging and the systems to support aging such as Age Friendly Healthcare Systems.
The SIG is in the process of deciding which areas to pursue next, and is considering topics such as housing and transportation.
We meet to discuss these topics and others every 2 weeks - and would welcome your ideas and suggestions.

Living Well Into the Future invites OLLI at BCC members as participants, team members, and audience
OLLI’s Changing the Culture of Ageism SIG is preparing to launch a new podcast Living Well Into The Future and you have an opportunity to make it flourish. The show aims to bridge the gap between generations and chart a path to the future through interviews with an adult 20-40 years old and one 60 plus, who may or may not be related, and an expert in health -related topics as diverse as family care and climate change. Led by Julie Koppenheffer, the effort seeks OLLI volunteers as guests and experts as well as by contributing their technical skills in radio/podcast production as a sound engineer, audio editor, photographer, and social outreach through a blog, community organizations and other means.
If you are interested, please email Julie Koppenheffer with your name and contact information and let her know how you might like to be involved. A meeting for people interested in participating will be scheduled soon.
